Who runs this website

I am a web designer at Annery Kiln Web Design and have for many years wished that there were a ferry service connecting North Devon with Wales and particularly, since I am Irish, with Ireland.

Every now and again little snippets of information and ideas crop up in the local newspapers and on the web. They all hint at the possibility, the maybe, the plans - but as yet nothing deadly serious seems to have been proposed.

Now that Ilfracombe Harbour has settled in to its refurbishment, which was always seen as the beginning of even greater things, I felt that it was time to get a but of momentum going. After all, here in North Devon, if you don’t squeak loudly, the wheel won't get oiled!

The huge potential - for both the general economy and for the tourist industry in North Devon - of an all-year light vehicle and passenger ferry between North Devon and South Wales and Ireland.

I am not a ferry company

I am neither a ferry company, nor have any intention of being a ferry company. Neither I nor any relatives are associated with any ferry company or any potentially interested party. All I want is to promote and accelerate the development of a ferry service. I admit I would like to be involved in at least designing the website for any operator - but that - as I have said elsewhere would be entirely up to whoever was running the ferries.
