North Devon needs the economic development, the tourism benefit and the prestige of a ferry service between Ilfracombe and Wales and Ireland.

The results of this survey may be used to support the development of a ferry service at least between North Devon and South Wales. This could act as a feeder service to the Swansea-Ireland services; as a way of connecting with flights from South Wales airports or for simply avoiding the long drive around the Severn estuary.
